Krafton and Unknown Worlds Entertainment have announced a delay for their highly anticipated underwater adventure, Subnautica 2. Originally slated for a 2025 release, the sequel will now make its debut in 2026.
The decision to push back the release comes after a series of playtests revealed areas for improvement, despite overall positive feedback from fans. The developers are taking this time to enhance the game based on community input.
Subnautica 2 is set to be available on Windows PC through Steam, the Microsoft Store, and the Epic Games Store, as well as on Xbox Series X|S.
