Lenovo Unveils High-Speed microSD Cards for Legion Y700 Gen 4 Gaming Tablet, Offering Capacities Up to 1 TB

Lenovo has unveiled an exciting addition to its tech lineup: the “Legion high-energy gaming microSD card,” tailored for the Legion Y700 Gen 4 tablet. Offering storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB, these cards deliver impressive speeds similar to a SanDisk Extreme PRO UHS-I, all at competitive prices.

The Legion Y700 Gen 4, launched in May, stands out in the compact tablet market, competing with the likes of the Redmi K Pad and RedMagic Astra. It’s powered by the robust Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, boasts a 7,600 mAh battery, and features an 8.8-inch display. Lenovo has also designed G9 and G9 Pro accessories to enhance its gaming capabilities, effectively turning the tablet into a portable gaming hub.

The new microSD cards leverage a UHS-I bus interface, providing up to 60 MB/s write and 170 MB/s read speeds. They are classified as V30 Class 10 cards, making them ideal for high-performance tasks. Price-wise, Lenovo has positioned these memory cards attractively, with the 256 GB version priced at approximately $22, the 512 GB at about $48, and the 1 TB version around $104. While these are set to hit the market soon, further information on global availability is still pending.
