SteelSeries is pushing its gaming mouse lineup into new territory with the launch of the Sensei Pro and Rival Pro series, two lightweight wireless gaming mice built for competitive players who want speed, precision, and flexibility. The new models arrive with Ultra-Wideband connectivity, high-end sensors, optical switches, and swappable batteries, making them some of the most performance-focused mice in the brand’s current lineup.
The biggest upgrade is the addition of UWB, or Ultra-Wideband, wireless technology. Compared with traditional 2.4 GHz wireless connections, UWB operates on a more open frequency range, which may help deliver a more stable and responsive signal in demanding gaming conditions. SteelSeries is positioning this as a major advantage for players who want consistent wireless performance with minimal latency.
There are two main designs in the new lineup. The SteelSeries Sensei Pro features a symmetrical shape, making it suitable for gamers who prefer a balanced design or use different grip styles. Despite the advanced hardware, the mice remain lightweight. The standard Sensei Pro and Rival Pro weigh 53 grams, while the Sensei Pro Mini and Rival Pro Mini weigh 49 grams. The white versions of the mini models are slightly heavier at 50 grams. This low weight should appeal to gamers who prefer quick flicks, fast repositioning, and reduced hand fatigue during long sessions.
