Snoopy Gets Spooky and Spirited in Two New Timex Weekender Watches

Timex celebrates Snoopy season with new Peanuts Weekender Halloween and Day of the Dead watches

Timex has added two festive new models to its Peanuts watch lineup, bringing Snoopy into the spotlight for Halloween and Día de los Muertos. The latest releases, the Peanuts x Timex Weekender Pumpkin and the Peanuts x Timex Weekender Day of the Dead, combine the brand’s classic Weekender style with playful seasonal artwork, collectible character details, and decorative leather straps.

Both watches keep the familiar Timex Weekender formula: a simple 40 mm case, an easy-to-read analog dial, quartz movement, and the brand’s well-known Indiglo backlight. What makes these two models stand out is the way Timex uses Snoopy-themed illustrations to turn each watch into a seasonal accessory rather than just a timepiece.

The Peanuts x Timex Weekender Pumpkin, model TW2Y85800, leans fully into the Halloween spirit. Its dial shows Snoopy sitting on top of a bright orange jack-o’-lantern, with Woodstock perched above him. The artwork takes up a large portion of the grey dial, giving the watch a fun, animated look while still leaving room for Arabic numeral hour markers and silver-tone hands.

To complete the Halloween theme, Timex pairs the watch with a brown leather strap featuring an embossed bat pattern. The result is a charming fall-ready design that should appeal to Peanuts fans, Snoopy collectors, and anyone looking for a subtle but festive Halloween watch.

The second model, the Peanuts x Timex Weekender Day of the Dead, carries the model number TW2Y85900 and takes inspiration from Día de los Muertos. The dial features Snoopy surrounded by colorful floral artwork, decorative skull-inspired details, and a detailed hat that reflects the celebratory style associated with the holiday.

Unlike Halloween, Día de los Muertos is centered on honoring and remembering loved ones who have passed away. Timex reflects that cultural inspiration through a more vibrant and ornamental design. The watch is finished with a black leather strap embossed with a paisley-style pattern, giving it a more decorative and refined appearance compared with the Pumpkin edition.

Despite their very different personalities, the two new Peanuts x Timex watches share nearly the same core specifications. Both feature polished silver-tone 40 mm cases, mineral crystal protection, three-hand analog displays, and quartz movements. They are also rated for 50 meters of water resistance, making them suitable for everyday wear and minor splashes.

One of the most recognizable Timex features is also included: Indiglo illumination. With a press of the crown, the dial lights up in the dark, making the artwork visible even in low-light settings. This feature adds both practicality and extra charm, especially for watches built around bold illustrated dials.

Both models use replaceable CR2016 batteries and come with 20 mm leather straps secured by traditional buckles. Timex keeps the mechanics simple, which allows the artwork to remain the main attraction. There are no extra complications or crowded subdials, just a clean three-hand layout designed to highlight Snoopy and the seasonal themes.

Timex has released pumpkin-themed Weekender watches before, but the new TW2Y85800 brings a fresh illustration and redesigned strap that set it apart from earlier versions. With the addition of the Day of the Dead model, the brand now has two autumn-themed Peanuts watches aimed at collectors and casual fans alike.

The Peanuts x Timex Weekender Pumpkin and Peanuts x Timex Weekender Day of the Dead are listed in the UK at £155 each. Timex has not yet confirmed whether the watches will be released more widely in other regions.

For fans of Snoopy, seasonal watch designs, or collectible Timex Weekender models, these two new Peanuts editions offer a fun mix of nostalgia, festive styling, and everyday wearability.
