In the latest AnTuTu flagship performance rankings, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version has secured the top spot, showcasing a significant score advantage. This trend continues in the newest list of top-performing Android smartphones. Leading the pack is the RedMagic 9S Pro+, equipped with the overclocked Qualcomm SoC, achieving an impressive average score of 2,127,528 points. Currently priced at $899 on Amazon for the 16/512 GB version, the RedMagic phone stands out among its competitors.
Interestingly, this new list features a larger number of smartphones equipped with the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 occupying the highest positions. The runner-up is the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, boasting an average score of 2,107,208 points.
In the third and fourth spots are the iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ and Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, with respective average scores of 2,106,419 and 2,093,592. Both devices utilize the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Entering the list as the first device powered by a MediaTek SoC, the iQOO Neo 9S Pro is equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ and holds an average score of 2,091,933, placing it fifth.
The Redmi K70 Ultra, also featuring the Dimensity 9300+, secures the sixth position with an average score of 2,085,769. The remaining spots in the top ten are as follows: Vivo X100 Ultra in seventh place with an average score of 2,050,569 thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo X100 in eighth and ninth with Dimensity 9300, scoring 2,019,403 and 2,015,347 respectively, and the OnePlus 12 in tenth position with an average score of 2,010,851 powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
It’s important to note that AnTuTu compiles these rankings monthly based on specific criteria. One key requirement is that Android phones must undergo at least 1,000 valid test runs throughout the month to be considered for inclusion. Consequently, not all phones appear in every month’s rankings. Additionally, benchmark scores can vary due to different configurations and testing conditions, meaning average scores can fluctuate monthly.
While synthetic benchmark scores offer valuable insight into a phone’s performance, they should not be the sole factor in your purchasing decision. Other crucial aspects to consider include screen quality, battery life, software features, and camera capabilities.
