SilentPC has introduced a new fanless mini PC designed for users who need serious desktop-class performance in a sealed, rugged enclosure. Built around the Akasa Pascal chassis, the compact system combines AMD Ryzen 9000-series processing power with an IP65-rated case that protects against dust and water.
The system measures 9.3 x 13.4 x 3 inches, making it small enough for tight installations while still offering the durability required for harsh environments. Thanks to the fully sealed Akasa Pascal case and passive cooling design, the mini PC runs silently without relying on fans that can pull in dust, moisture, or debris.
At the heart of the machine is an ASRock X600TM-ITX motherboard paired with AMD’s Zen 5 desktop processors. Buyers can choose between the Ryzen 5 9600X, a 6-core, 12-thread chip with boost speeds up to 5.4 GHz, or the Ryzen 7 9700X, which offers 8 cores, 16 threads, and boost clocks up to 5.5 GHz. Both options bring strong performance for productivity, industrial use, digital signage, automation, edge computing, and other demanding workloads.
The fanless cooling system is one of the biggest highlights. Instead of traditional airflow, the Akasa Pascal case acts as a large passive heatsink, helping dissipate heat from the processor while keeping the system completely quiet. This makes the mini PC especially appealing for noise-sensitive spaces, outdoor installations, vehicles, boats, workshops, and dusty environments where conventional PCs may struggle.
Memory support is also generous. The ASRock motherboard can handle up to 96 GB of DDR5-6400 RAM, giving users plenty of room for multitasking, professional applications, and long-term upgrade flexibility. For storage, the system includes two PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD slots and two SATA connectors. The platform supports high-capacity storage configurations, while SilentPC’s listed configuration options go up to 8 TB.
Connectivity is practical for a compact rugged system. Port options include one USB-A 3.2 10 Gbps port, two USB-A 5 Gbps ports, one USB-C 3.2 10 Gbps port, an audio jack, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort 1.4. Video output is handled by the integrated Radeon graphics built into the Ryzen processor, making the machine suitable for dual-display setups without requiring a dedicated graphics card.
Networking is limited to wired Gigabit Ethernet through the Realtek RTL8111H controller included with the motherboard. However, users who need wireless connectivity can add a Wi-Fi module through the available M.2 2230 slot.
The biggest drawback is the price. Due to the premium Akasa Pascal enclosure and higher component costs, the starting configuration is expensive at $3,350. That base model includes the ASRock X600TM-ITX motherboard, Ryzen 5 9600X processor, 32 GB of Crucial DDR5-5600 memory, a 1 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD, Windows 11 Home, and a 1-year warranty.
While the cost will likely put it out of reach for casual buyers, this waterproof fanless mini PC is clearly aimed at specialized use cases where silence, reliability, durability, and compact performance matter more than price. For industrial deployments, marine use, vehicle-mounted computing, outdoor installations, or dust-heavy environments, SilentPC’s new Ryzen-powered system offers a rare combination of rugged protection and modern desktop performance in a compact form factor.
