Seiko Unveils Winter-Inspired Seiko 5 Sports Limited Editions—Available Now

Seiko’s new winter-sports-inspired Seiko 5 Sports watches are no longer just an announcement—they’re now officially on sale. Seiko’s Singapore boutique has listed both limited-edition references, SRPM11K1 and SRPM13K1, as in stock, effectively confirming that the rollout is underway across select Southeast Asian markets.

These two models sit within the Seiko 5 Sports SKX series and are exclusive to the Thong Sia Group distribution region. Each watch is priced at SGD 473.10 (around $367), positioning them as attainable automatic sports watches with a seasonal, outdoorsy theme. Production is limited to 1,000 pieces for the region, which includes Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, and Brunei—making availability especially tight for collectors outside those markets.

On specifications, the SRPM11K1 and SRPM13K1 share the same foundation. Both use a 42.5mm stainless steel case paired with a matching stainless steel bracelet, along with a one-way rotating bezel for that classic dive-style look. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres, making them suitable for day-to-day wear and water activities, even if they aren’t positioned as full professional dive watches.

Inside, Seiko fits its familiar 4R36 automatic movement. It supports hacking (the seconds hand stops when setting the time) and hand-winding, and it delivers an approximate 41-hour power reserve. A see-through caseback lets you view the movement in action—an appealing touch at this price point. The only potential downside some buyers may note is the use of Hardlex crystal rather than sapphire, which is tougher than basic mineral glass but generally less scratch-resistant than sapphire.

The biggest difference between the two limited editions is the color execution. The SRPM11K1 features a purple dial matched with a purple bezel insert, while the SRPM13K1 goes for a brown dial and bezel pairing. Both dials include a grid-like textured finish, applied hour markers for added depth, and a day-date display positioned at three o’clock, keeping the SKX-inspired layout familiar and practical.

One detail still unclear from the official listings is whether the 1,000-piece limit applies to each reference individually or to the two-watch release combined. There’s also no mention of individual numbering on the casebacks. For now, no additional color variants have been announced, and there’s been no indication of wider international availability—suggesting these will remain strictly regional exclusives tied to Thong Sia Group’s Southeast Asian markets.

For anyone searching for a limited-edition Seiko 5 Sports SKX-style watch with a winter-themed color palette, these SRPM11K1 and SRPM13K1 releases now have the most important detail confirmed: they’re available, and the limited run means they may not stay that way for long.
