Seiko has unveiled two fresh Seiko 5 Sports watches inspired by winter sports, created as Thong Sia Group exclusives for select Southeast Asian markets. The new references, SRPM11K1 and SRPM13K1, were teased through Seiko Singapore’s social channels with a short launch clip pairing the watches with skiing and snowboarding visuals, reinforcing the sporty, cold-weather theme.
Both models stick closely to the familiar Seiko 5 Sports formula that fans recognize: a diver-style case with a rotating bezel, a metal bracelet built for daily wear, and a day-date display positioned at 3 o’clock. The real difference comes down to color and dial character, giving each version its own distinct personality while keeping the same core design language.
The Seiko 5 Sports SRPM11K1 goes bold with a deep purple finish across both the bezel insert and dial. The bright hands and markers pop strongly against the darker background, improving legibility and adding to the energetic “performance gear” feel highlighted in the promotional material. A grid-style texture on the dial adds a more technical, modern edge compared to a standard flat sunburst look.
The SRPM13K1 takes the same overall layout but shifts to a warmer brown palette. It also appears to feature a gentle gradient effect, moving from a darker tone around the outer edges toward a lighter center, with the same grid-like dial texture carrying over. The result is a sport-forward look that still feels versatile enough for everyday outfits, especially for anyone who prefers earth tones over brighter colors.
According to the launch graphics, this release is limited to 1,000 pieces and will be sold exclusively in Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore. Seiko hasn’t clarified whether the 1,000-piece figure is split between the two references or applies to the duo as a combined series, but either way it signals a relatively small, region-focused run that collectors often pay attention to.
Full specifications haven’t been officially published yet, but the case shape, bracelet style, and dial layout suggest these watches sit firmly within the current Seiko 5 Sports lineup. In other words, expect the usual Seiko 5 Sports focus on everyday practicality and sporty styling rather than positioning as a hardcore professional dive tool.
For now, Seiko hasn’t shared pricing or an exact release date. The only official message in the teaser materials is that the SRPM11 and SRPM13 are “coming soon,” so interested buyers in the listed regions will want to watch for local retailer announcements as availability details emerge.
