Seiko Unveils Five Elegant Rectangular Lukia Watches Powered by Solar Radio Precision

Seiko Expands the Lukia Grow Collection With Five Elegant New Watches

Seiko has added five new models to its Lukia Grow collection, bringing fresh rectangular and softly rounded case designs to the popular women’s watch lineup. The new releases include three compact stainless steel quartz watches and two larger titanium models equipped with solar-powered, radio-controlled movements.

All five watches are set to launch in Japan on October 9, 2026. At this stage, Seiko has not confirmed whether these Lukia Grow models will be released in other markets.

The new Seiko Lukia Grow HEG001J, HEG002J, and HEG003J share the same refined rectangular case design. Each model measures 28.9 x 20 x 7.2 mm and uses a stainless steel case paired with a curved sapphire crystal. The watches also offer 10-bar water resistance, making them suitable for everyday wear, and each features an onyx-set crown for an added touch of elegance.

Seiko says the design of these rectangular Lukia Grow watches takes inspiration from Hypericum berries. The curved Roman numerals and emphasized 12 and 6 o’clock markers are intended to highlight the vertical shape of the dial, giving the watches a graceful and elongated look.

Inside the HEG001J, HEG002J, and HEG003J is Seiko’s 4N30 quartz movement. This battery-powered caliber is rated to an average accuracy of ±15 seconds per month, offering reliable timekeeping with minimal maintenance.

The main differences between the three models are found in their styling. The HEG001J and HEG002J are fitted with multi-link metal bracelets, while the HEG003J stands out with a champagne-gold-colored case and a black cowhide leather strap. This gives buyers a choice between a more polished bracelet design or a dressier leather option.

The other two additions, the Seiko Lukia Grow HEE005J and HEE006J, bring a more advanced feature set. These models use larger 37.4 x 24.6 x 7.7 mm titanium cases, making them lighter on the wrist than traditional stainless steel while still maintaining durability. Both watches feature mother-of-pearl dials, Roman numeral hour markers, and blue hour and minute hands for a classic yet eye-catching appearance.

The HEE005J combines a silver tone with Seiko’s matte “Lady Gold” finish, offering a subtle two-tone look. The HEE006J leans fully into the gold aesthetic for a warmer and more luxurious appearance. Both models include curved sapphire crystals, 10-bar water resistance, and nickel-allergy-resistant construction, making them practical as well as stylish.

Powering the HEE005J and HEE006J is Seiko’s 1B32 solar radio-controlled caliber. This movement can receive standard time signals in Japan, China, Germany, and the United States, allowing the watch to automatically synchronize for accurate timekeeping where supported. When radio signal reception is not available, the movement is rated to ±15 seconds per month.

The solar movement provides around six months of operation on a full charge. With the power-saving function enabled, that extends to approximately 1.5 years. Additional features include automatic hand-position correction, time-zone adjustment, and a full-auto calendar programmed through the end of 2099.

Pricing for the new Seiko Lukia Grow range starts at ¥63,800, approximately $404, for the HEG001J. The HEG002J and HEG003J are priced at ¥67,100, around $425. The more advanced titanium HEE005J and HEE006J models are priced at ¥103,400 each, roughly $665.

Unlike the recently introduced limited-edition Lukia models, these five watches are regular-production additions to the Seiko Lukia Grow catalog. That means they should remain available beyond the initial launch period, though availability outside Japan has not yet been announced.
