Samsung is getting a head start on CES 2026 with the reveal of two new wireless home speakers: the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7. Built to be stationary, décor-friendly audio solutions, both models focus on blending into living spaces while delivering a modern set of features such as AI-powered bass management and SmartThings control.
The Music Studio 5 is the more compact option, featuring a gallery-inspired look designed to sit naturally in a room rather than stand out like traditional audio gear. Under the hood, it’s a 2.1-channel speaker system with two tweeters and a 4-inch woofer. Samsung says it uses a waveguide system and audio tuning developed through its Audio Lab to create a balanced sound signature. To help the speaker stay clean at higher volume levels, it also includes AI Dynamic Bass Control, which adjusts bass output to reduce distortion while preserving impact.
Stepping up to the Music Studio 7, Samsung moves to a bookshelf-style design offered in both black and white finishes. This model brings a more advanced 3.1.1-channel arrangement, using front-, side-, and top-firing tweeters along with a woofer for a bigger, more spacious presentation. A dedicated super tweeter is designed to reproduce very high frequencies up to 35 kHz, and the speaker supports high-resolution audio playback up to 24-bit/96 kHz—an appealing spec for listeners who want more detail from compatible sources.
The Music Studio 7 also adds Q-Symphony support, allowing it to pair wirelessly with compatible Samsung TVs and soundbars to create a wider, more immersive audio setup. That makes it a strong candidate for users who want an easy way to expand their living room sound without building a complex wired system.
Both the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 support Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi for wireless streaming and can be managed through the SmartThings app, keeping them aligned with Samsung’s broader connected-home ecosystem.
Samsung hasn’t confirmed official pricing or availability yet, but the company says more details will be shared when CES 2026 begins in early January.
