Samsung Display is once again stirring excitement with its innovative tri-foldable concepts. Recently showcased with a flair for the futuristic, the tech giant had two intriguing versions on display alongside other remarkable foldables like the IT Foldable, Slidable Flex Duet, and Slidable Flex Vertical.
In a nod to its continuous evolution, Samsung Display revealed a concept that brings to mind the Huawei Mate XT’s unique form, where part of the display remains visible even when the device is closed. Previously known as the ‘Flex S’, this design has piqued interest with its sleek form factor.
However, the real showstopper was the alternative tri-foldable concept, which modifies the familiar Galaxy Z Fold design by adding an additional side. This intriguing device, referred to as the ‘Flex G’ at CES 2022, is reportedly serving as the proving ground for Samsung’s very first tri-foldable model.
While tech enthusiasts are eager to get their hands on these groundbreaking developments, it seems patience will be necessary. Samsung’s ambitious alternative to the Mate XT is not expected to hit the market until at least 2026. Until then, the innovation shown at these demonstrations keeps the anticipation and excitement alive amongst gadget lovers and tech aficionados alike.
