If wave-based chaos and power-trip progression are your thing, Greedland just leveled up into a must-play. After more than two years in early access, the twin-stick roguelite officially launched version 1.0 on September 16, 2025, bringing a hefty batch of new content, online co-op, and a tempting launch discount on Steam.
Developed by VaMP He and published by Gamersky Games alongside 2P Games, Greedland sticks to a simple, satisfying loop: survive overwhelming alien swarms, hoover up upgrades, and evolve into a walking arsenal. Early access players praised the explosive combat and buttery feedback, even while noting some repetition and occasionally clunky translations.
The 1.0 update is all about bigger toys and tougher challenges. There’s a new Lava Area with 10 levels plus its own endless mode, a Base Defense challenge for turret-building tacticians, and Titan Mechas—summonable, pilotable juggernauts that turn the battlefield into your playground. Two additional Power Armors and new weapons expand build variety, and online co-op now joins the existing local co-op. The developer has also teased support for up to four players in future updates.
Reception remains very positive on Steam. Fans love the relentless action, punchy progression, and the feeling of breaking the power curve, while common critiques call out grind and a need for more enemy variety. Performance is generally solid across a range of PCs and plays well on Steam Deck, though the screen can get gloriously cluttered when the bullets—and enemies—really start flying.
Pricing has shifted with the full release. The base price is now $8.74, currently offset by a 36% launch discount. The developer notes this is expected to be the lowest price before a permanent increase, making the launch window an appealing time to jump in.
With its mix of roguelite upgrades, meaty twin-stick gunplay, fresh modes, and new online co-op, Greedland feels like a confident step out of early access. If you’re a fan of Vampire Survivors, Crimsonland, or any game where the screen fills with enemies and your build turns you into a late-game demigod, this one deserves a spot in your queue.
