Oppo has officially unveiled the K13 Turbo series, featuring two impressive upper-mid-range smartphones that stand out with their innovative built-in cooling fan and robust water-resistance ratings, including IPX9, IPX8, and IPX6.
The active cooling fan, complemented by a vapor chamber, is designed to maintain optimal temperatures between 41°C and 43°C during intense gaming sessions, such as MOBA and open-world mobile games. The K13 Turbo is powered by the Dimensity 8450, while the Pro version boasts the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4.
Both models offer numerous gaming enhancements, capable of delivering an average of 60 FPS in first-person shooter games and around 120 FPS for MOBA games.
The smartphones feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. They come with a dual-camera system, including a 50 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary sensor. A 16 MP front camera is perfect for selfies.
Energy needs are met with a substantial 7,000 mAh battery supporting 80 W fast charging. Additional features include WiFi 7, stereo speakers, up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate.
Pricing starts at CNY 1,799 (approximately $250) for the K13 Turbo, with the Pro model priced at CNY 1,999 (around $278). Global pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
