Unannounced Casio Edifice EFR-539G Two-Tone Chronographs Surface With Full Specs
Casio appears to be preparing two new additions to its Edifice chronograph lineup, and they already look like attention-grabbers. Two unannounced models, the Casio Edifice EFR-539G-3AVUDR and EFR-539G-2AVUDR, have surfaced through retail listings in Vietnam, revealing detailed specifications before any official announcement from Casio.
The upcoming watches bring a dressier two-tone finish to the sporty Edifice EFR-539 series. The EFR-539G-3AVUDR features a green dial paired with yellow gold accents, including the bezel, hour markers, subdial rings, and hands. The EFR-539G-2AVUDR takes a cooler approach with a navy dial and rose gold-tone detailing, giving it a more refined and modern look.
Both models come fitted with matching two-tone metal bracelets. The outer links use a stainless steel finish, while the center links carry a gold-tone treatment, creating a classic premium style often seen on more expensive chronographs. For buyers who like a watch that can move between casual wear, office outfits, and evening use, these new Edifice models could be a strong fit.
The listings also reveal that both watches use Casio’s module 5345. This movement includes a 1/10-second stopwatch with a measuring capacity of 59 minutes and 59.9 seconds. It can track elapsed time, split time, and first and second place finishes, keeping the watch firmly in chronograph territory rather than being just a fashion-focused design.
Accuracy is listed at plus or minus 20 seconds per month, which is typical for many quartz chronographs in this category. Power comes from an SR920SW battery, rated for approximately two years of use.
The case size is listed at 54.1 x 49.5 x 11.7 mm, with a total weight of 184 grams. That makes these watches fairly large and substantial on the wrist, matching the bold character of the Edifice line. The bezel is described as a combination of stainless steel and aluminum, which helps enhance the layered two-tone appearance.
At the moment, Casio’s official regional websites do not show either of these EFR-539G models. The current EFR-539 lineup already includes standard stainless steel versions, models with single-color ion-plated bezels, and a full gold-tone variant in select markets. These newly spotted green and navy two-tone versions would expand the range with more colorful and premium-looking options.
Pricing has not been revealed yet. The Vietnamese retail pages reportedly use a contact-for-price placeholder instead of listing a final retail figure. There is also no confirmed release date, so it remains unclear whether these models will launch first in Asia or receive a wider international rollout.
One small detail stands out in the listings. The navy version is titled EFR-539-2AVUDR in one place, without the “G,” while its description refers to it as the EFR-539G-2A. Since the green model consistently uses the EFR-539G name, the missing letter on the navy listing is likely a simple retailer error rather than a separate model distinction.
Casio has not officially introduced the EFR-539G-3AVUDR or EFR-539G-2AVUDR yet, but the detailed listings suggest these two-tone Edifice chronographs may be close to launch. With their bold case size, sporty chronograph functionality, and eye-catching green and navy dial options, they could appeal to fans looking for a stylish Casio Edifice watch with a more upscale presence.
