Casio appears to be preparing a new addition to its Edifice lineup, with the Edifice EFS-S660 series surfacing early through a retailer listing in Vietnam. While Casio has not officially announced the models yet, the listing suggests that the new chronographs could arrive in August.
The upcoming Casio Edifice EFS-S660 watches are expected to focus on a compact, practical design while keeping the sporty character that the Edifice series is known for. The lineup reportedly includes two versions, both featuring a 38.3 mm case, solar-powered movement, sapphire crystal protection, and 100-meter water resistance.
The Edifice EFS-S660 follows Casio’s “Speed & Intelligence” design theme, giving it a motorsport-inspired look without making the watch feel oversized. The smaller case size could make it appealing to buyers who want a chronograph that is easier to wear every day, especially compared to larger sports watches.
One of the standout features is solar charging. The dial is designed with a layered finish that allows light to pass through and power the watch. This means users should not need to replace the battery regularly, making the EFS-S660 a low-maintenance option for daily use.

This gives the watch a more aggressive and modern appearance, likely aimed at buyers who prefer a lighter strap and a bolder design.
Both versions are expected to offer 100 meters of water resistance, making them suitable for everyday splashes, rain, and light water activities. Combined with solar charging and sapphire crystal, the EFS-S660 series looks positioned as a durable everyday chronograph rather than a watch meant only for occasional wear.
