DJI’s next pocket powerhouse looks all but confirmed. A newly surfaced photo of the DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo box shows the key features printed on the back, effectively locking in the headline upgrades fans have been expecting—most notably a 1-inch image sensor in a sub-compact airframe and 4K video at up to 120 fps.
According to the packaging, the Mini 5 Pro keeps the ultra-light, foldable design while delivering a much larger camera system. The gimbal can rotate 225 degrees and supports true vertical shooting for social-friendly footage. There’s also a virtual 48 mm telephoto mode, likely achieved via crop zoom, for tighter compositions without swapping drones.
Obstacle avoidance sees a big leap as well. The box highlights LiDAR-assisted, 360-degree detection, which should improve reliability in complex environments and low light. DJI’s subject tracking returns too, so runners, cyclists, and action shooters can expect hands-free tracking with ActiveTrack-style features.
One detail that raised eyebrows is the listed 52-minute maximum flight time. That figure aligns with the “Fly More Combo Plus” contents called out on the box: instead of standard packs, it includes three Flight Battery Plus units. These extended packs enable the longer airtime but will likely push the aircraft over the 250-gram threshold in many regions. Also included are the DJI RC2 controller and an ND filter set. A separate image seemingly shows the primary box contents laid out, including the drone and the RC2 powered on.
Key specs shown on the retail packaging:
– 1-inch image sensor
– 4K/120 fps slow-motion video
– 225-degree gimbal rotation with native vertical shooting
– Virtual 48 mm telephoto (crop zoom)
– LiDAR-assisted 360-degree obstacle avoidance
– Active object tracking
– Up to 52 minutes of flight time with Flight Battery Plus (Fly More Combo Plus)
– DJI RC2 controller and ND filter set included in the Plus combo
If accurate, these features would make the Mini 5 Pro one of the most capable mini drones to date, pairing a significantly larger sensor with advanced avoidance and longer airtime. Availability of the Plus combo may vary by region, and the sub-250 g classification will depend on which battery you use. All eyes now turn to the official announcement for final specs, pricing, and regional bundles.
