Resident Evil Requiem Gets an Early Price Drop Before Launch

Resident Evil fans won’t have to wait until launch day to score a better deal on Resident Evil Requiem. The highly anticipated next entry in the series is set to release on February 27, and a notable pre-launch discount is already available for players who want to jump in on day one.

It’s rare to see brand-new games get marked down weeks before release, but Resident Evil Requiem is currently being sold below its usual price. The Standard Edition normally costs $69.99, but it’s discounted by 18%, bringing the price down to $57.39. Another perk: the purchase includes a Steam key, so you can redeem it directly to your Steam account and have it ready to go when the game unlocks.

If you’re looking for more extras, the Deluxe Edition is also discounted by the same 18%. That drops it from $79.99 to $65.59. The Deluxe Edition adds a bundle of in-game items designed for players who like customization and bonus content, including five costumes, two visual filters, and four weapon skins. One of the highlighted skins is the Apocalypse skin for the S&S M232. You’ll also get two charms and the Raccoon City Classic audio pack to round out the experience.

There’s also a pre-order bonus included with both editions: the Apocalypse costume for Grace, giving early buyers an additional cosmetic reward on top of the discounted price.

With Resident Evil Requiem’s release date fast approaching, this early discount makes it a good time for fans to lock in their preferred edition and get their Steam redemption ready ahead of February 27.
