Realme P4 Lite Launches: Budget-Friendly Phone with Smooth 90Hz Screen and Massive 6,300mAh Battery

Realme has expanded its budget lineup in India with the new Realme P4 Lite, an entry-level 4G smartphone designed for buyers who want a big battery, a smooth display, and practical extras without spending much. Joining the existing P4 series family, the P4 Lite targets everyday users looking for a reliable phone for calls, social apps, streaming, and light gaming.

At the heart of the Realme P4 Lite is the Unisoc T7250 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. Buyers can choose between 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, and there’s also a microSD card slot for easy storage expansion—useful if you keep lots of photos, videos, and offline content.

On the front, Realme fits a 6.74-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. That higher refresh rate helps scrolling and animations feel smoother than standard 60Hz budget panels, which many users notice immediately in day-to-day use.

One of the biggest talking points is the battery. The Realme P4 Lite packs a massive 6,300mAh battery, which is a standout feature at this price and should translate to long runtime for most people. Charging is capped at 15W wired charging, and it also offers 6W reverse wired charging, allowing the phone to share power with other devices like wireless earbuds or another phone in a pinch—essentially functioning as a simple power bank.

For cameras, the phone comes with a 13MP main rear camera supported by an auxiliary sensor, while the front houses a 5MP selfie camera for video calls and casual selfies. It’s a straightforward setup aimed at covering everyday photo needs.

Realme also includes a solid list of practical features that budget shoppers often look for. You get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking, an IP54 rating for basic dust and splash resistance, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio fans. The phone is also listed with MIL-STD-810H certification, adding an extra durability angle for users who want more peace of mind.

For design and usability, the Realme P4 Lite measures 7.94mm in thickness and weighs around 201 grams. Realme adds some flair too, with an LED flash and a pulse light that can glow in nine colors across five modes—an eye-catching touch that helps the phone stand out in the entry-level segment.

Software-wise, the Realme P4 Lite comes with Android 15 out of the box, though Realme hasn’t shared details yet on how long the device will receive updates, which is something buyers may want to consider.

In India, the Realme P4 Lite is offered in Obsidian Black, Beach Gold, and Sea Blue. Pricing starts at INR 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, while the 4GB + 128GB model costs INR 11,999. Sales begin February 24 in India through Realme’s official store and Flipkart.
