Questyle Introduces Qlink-C: A Featherweight USB‑C DAC for High-Fidelity Audio on the Go

Questyle has introduced the Qlink-C, a compact, entry-level USB-C DAC designed to give smartphones, tablets, and laptops a cleaner, higher-quality wired audio output through a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. It’s aimed at users who want better sound than their device’s built-in USB-C audio or basic dongles, without carrying a bulky external audio setup.

Despite its tiny size, the Questyle Qlink-C supports high-resolution audio playback up to 32-bit/384 kHz, making it a practical pick for anyone streaming or playing lossless and hi-res music files and looking to get more detail and clarity from wired headphones or earbuds.

On the performance side, the Qlink-C is rated at a 100 dB signal-to-noise ratio with total harmonic distortion (THD) listed at –95 dB. Those numbers are solid for an affordable portable USB-C DAC, even if they don’t top the best audio-focused phones and premium DACs. The key point is that many everyday phones, tablets, and laptops don’t deliver standout sound through their built-in audio solutions, so a dedicated USB-C DAC like this can be a noticeable upgrade for wired listening.

One of the Qlink-C’s standout design touches is its 8-core braided cable made from oxygen-free copper (OFC) with silver plating. Questyle says the cable is built to handle up to 15,000 bending cycles, which is important for a dongle-style accessory that gets pulled, pocketed, and twisted daily. The connectors at both ends use aluminum alloy, giving it a more durable, premium feel than typical lightweight adapters.

Portability is clearly a major selling point. The DAC measures 11.81 x 0.99 x 0.58 cm (4.65 x 0.39 x 0.23 in.) and weighs just 4.54 grams (about 0.16–0.17 oz.), making it easy to keep attached to a cable pouch, slip into a pocket, or leave connected to a laptop without adding noticeable weight.

Pricing in Japan is set at 4,153 yen (around $26), positioning the Questyle Qlink-C as a budget-friendly way to add high-resolution USB-C audio output and a reliable 3.5 mm headphone connection for everyday listening on modern devices.
