Preorder Deals Arrive for Ugreen’s New NAS: Core Ultra 7 Power and Up to 64GB RAM

Ugreen is expanding its network-attached storage lineup with two new NAS devices built for users who want far more than simple file storage. The new NASync iDX series includes the NASync iDX6011 and the NASync iDX6011 Pro, and both are positioned as high-performance home or small office servers designed to handle demanding workloads, fast networking, and even local AI-powered features.

Preorders are already live with a deposit-based reservation system. The NASync iDX6011 can be reserved with a $30 deposit and is expected to land at a discounted price of $999 once the related campaign begins in March. Shipping is currently projected for May. There’s also a super early-bird option priced at $1,199 that upgrades the memory to 64GB RAM instead of the standard 32GB. For buyers who want the more advanced model, the NASync iDX6011 Pro is available through the same reservation approach with a listed preorder price of $1,559.

Performance is the major selling point here, and it starts with the processors. The NASync iDX6011 Pro runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H, while the standard NASync iDX6011 uses an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H. Both chips include built-in NPUs, which Ugreen is using to highlight local AI acceleration. In practical terms, that can enable features like analyzing and sorting photo libraries directly on the NAS without relying on cloud services. Ugreen also promotes the ability to build a local knowledge base, framing the devices as personal or office AI-capable servers rather than just network storage boxes.

One of the most appealing angles for privacy-focused buyers is that these local AI features are designed to run without paid subscriptions, and sensitive data doesn’t need to be uploaded to external servers to get “smart” functionality. For anyone tired of cloud lock-in—or who simply prefers keeping everything in-house—this is a clear part of the pitch.

Between the two models, the differences are relatively limited, but there are a couple of notable upgrades on the Pro. The biggest functional distinction is OCuLink support, available only on the NASync iDX6011 Pro, which can be used to connect an external GPU or add extra storage expansion. The Pro model also includes a 3.71-inch display, which may be useful for quick system status checks and at-a-glance monitoring.

Both NAS devices come well-equipped for connectivity and fast transfers. You get Thunderbolt 4, USB 3, USB 2, and an SD card reader aimed at quick photo and media backups—useful for creators who routinely offload files from cameras or drones. Storage scalability is also a key focus: each model supports six hard drives plus two additional SSDs. The operating system, UGOS Pro, is installed on a preinstalled 128GB SSD, helping keep the main drive bays free for user data.

For networking, Ugreen includes dual Ethernet with up to 10Gbps per port, a spec that targets users who want high-speed local access, multi-user performance, or faster backups across a capable network. Combined with modern Intel hardware and expansion options, the NASync iDX series clearly aims at enthusiasts, creators, and small teams who need a powerful NAS for media workflows, virtualization, large backups, and privacy-friendly AI features.
