Pre-Order Now: 8BitDo 64 Controller in Sleek Black and White, Launching July 30 on Amazon

The much-anticipated 8BitDo 64 Controller is finally on the horizon, boasting features reminiscent of the classic Nintendo 64 controller. After being unveiled in October 2024, it’s now set to hit the shelves with pre-orders open in the US and the UK, available in sleek black and white options.

Originally intended for release in March 2025, the launch faced setbacks due to delays with the Analogue 3D console. Now, with a confirmed release date, eager gamers can secure their controller on Amazon, priced at $39.99 in the US and £34.99 in the UK, with availability set for July 30, 2025.

While crafted for the Analogue 3D, a modern twist on the Nintendo N64 console, the 8BitDo 64 Controller extends its compatibility to the Nintendo Switch (including N64 Online), Android, and Windows. Gamers can enjoy the flexibility of Bluetooth and Wired USB modes, with a convenient toggle to switch between D-input and S-input modes.

Staying true to its roots, the controller features a concave rubber joystick cap, iconic C-buttons, and well-positioned Start and A/B buttons. It brings in modern enhancements like a turbo button, home button, Hall Effect joystick, wear-resistant joystick ring, and vibration support when used with Analogue 3D and the Switch. However, specifics on battery life, weight, and dimensions are yet to be revealed.

This blend of nostalgia and modern functionality makes the 8BitDo 64 Controller a must-have for both retro enthusiasts and contemporary gamers alike.
