Analogue is expanding its Analogue 3D lineup again, giving Nintendo 64 fans and retro gaming collectors even more ways to pick up the company’s modern take on a classic console.
After launching the Analogue 3D in simple Black and White, Analogue introduced eight eye-catching translucent shades in December 2025 as part of the Funtastic Limited Edition collection. Now, the company is following that up with five more translucent finishes inspired by a different piece of N64 history.
These new options are called the Analogue 3D Prototype Limited Editions, and Analogue says the colors are based on official Nintendo 64 prototypes that were produced but never released to the public. The five new translucent colors are Atomic Purple, Extreme Green, Ghost, Glacier, and Ocean, offering a nostalgic throwback look that longtime fans will instantly recognize.
Availability is set for February 9 at 8AM PST. Like previous limited runs, quantities will be limited, so anyone who wants a specific color will likely want to be ready when sales open.
Pricing for the Analogue 3D Prototype Limited Editions is $299.99. That matches the earlier Funtastic Limited Edition models and comes in at $30 more than the standard Analogue 3D editions. Analogue also says it plans to ship orders quickly, with a stated 24 to 48 hour shipping window after purchase.
Alongside the new console colors, Analogue is also continuing the matching-accessory approach from the earlier release, offering corresponding controllers made by 8BitDo. As with the consoles, these matching controller versions are priced higher than the standard controller models.
With these Prototype Limited Editions, Analogue is clearly leaning into the collector appeal of translucent retro hardware while keeping the lineup fresh for anyone looking to buy an Analogue 3D in a standout colorway.
