Paul W.S. Anderson to Direct Live-Action “House of the Dead” Film Adaptation

Get ready to step back into the chilling world of The House of the Dead, as Sega is bringing the iconic zombie shooter series to life once more with a fresh live-action film. At the helm of this thrilling new venture is Paul W.S. Anderson, famously known for his work on the Resident Evil film series. Not only will Anderson direct the film, but he is also taking charge of writing and producing it, collaborating with co-producer Jeremy Bolt. Joining them in this cinematic resurrection are Sega’s Toru Nakahara and Story Kitchen’s team consisting of Dmitri M. Johnson, Mike Goldberg, and Dan Jevons, while Timothy I. Stevenson will executive produce.

However, it is his six-film Resident Evil series that solidified his name in the action-horror domain, collectively grossing over $1.3 billion and earning the title of the longest-running video game-based film franchise.
