Outpath Expands to Consoles: The Clicker Base-Builder Heads to New Platforms

Silver Lining Interactive is bringing Outpath, the experimental clicker-inspired base-building game from developer David Moralejo Sánchez, to consoles this month. After first launching on Windows PC in 2023, Outpath will arrive on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on February 19, giving a whole new audience the chance to sink into its calm, cozy loop of exploration and building. Players can already wishlist it on each platform’s digital store.

Outpath is designed around a simple but satisfying idea: head to a chain of pixel-stylized islands and build something of your own, one small step at a time. There are no timers pushing you forward and no constant threats demanding your attention. Instead, the game encourages you to move at your own pace as you gather materials, craft useful items, and shape your island base into a steadily growing hub.

A big part of the fun comes from expansion. As you progress, you can purchase additional islands to broaden your territory, opening up more space to explore and more resources to work with. That sense of gradually turning unfamiliar land into a thriving, connected domain is at the heart of the experience, whether you’re playing for short relaxing sessions or settling in for a longer building spree.

The game also gives you freedom in how you play. If you enjoy hands-on management, you can manually gather, craft, and build as you go. If you prefer a more hands-off approach, Outpath lets you automate production and set up systems that keep things running smoothly in the background. The idler/clicker mechanics are optional, making it easy for players who want a laid-back progression style to enjoy steady growth without pressure.

With a strong reception on PC, Outpath’s console release on February 19 positions it as a feel-good base-building and exploration game for anyone looking for a relaxed crafting experience on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, or Nintendo Switch—both on the big screen and on the go.
