Oppo Find X10 Leak Hints at a Big Camera Boost for the Standard Model

Oppo’s camera-first Find X9 lineup only arrived in October 2025, but attention is already shifting to what could be next. Fresh leaks now point to a significant camera upgrade for the standard Oppo Find X10, suggesting the next generation could close one of the biggest gaps between the regular and Pro models.

To recap the current lineup, Oppo launched two phones in the Find X9 series: the Find X9 and the Find X9 Pro. The standout difference between them is the telephoto hardware. The standard Find X9 uses a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.95-inch sensor, while the Find X9 Pro steps up to a much larger 200MP periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor. That Pro-level telephoto setup is a big part of why the higher-end model has stronger zoom potential and more flexibility for detailed long-range shots.

According to a new claim from well-known leaker Digital Chat Station, Oppo may be testing the standard Find X10 with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. If this evaluation turns into the final product, it would mark a major leap for the base model and could dramatically improve zoom performance, detail capture, and low-light telephoto shots.

The leak doesn’t confirm which exact 200MP sensor Oppo would use in the Find X10. There’s uncertainty about whether it will rely on the same Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor used in the Find X9 Pro’s telephoto system or a different camera sensor altogether. Either way, the key takeaway is that a 200MP periscope telephoto lens is being considered for the non-Pro flagship—an upgrade that could reshape the Find X series camera hierarchy.

This would also be a timely change. While the Find X9 delivers solid camera results overall, it hasn’t stood out as strongly as some competing ultra-premium phones, especially when it comes to higher-end zoom performance. A larger, higher-resolution periscope telephoto camera on the Find X10 could help Oppo better compete in the flagship camera phone race and make the “standard” model far more appealing to photography-focused buyers.

Oppo isn’t the only brand leaning into 200MP telephoto hardware, either. OnePlus is also expected to introduce a 200MP telephoto camera with the upcoming OnePlus 16, signaling that high-resolution periscope zoom could become one of the next major trends in premium smartphones.

As for timing, the Oppo Find X10 series is rumored to launch in Q4 2026, following a similar schedule to the Find X9 release. Before that happens, Oppo is expected to unveil the Find X9 Ultra as its next top-tier premium smartphone, likely pushing the company’s camera technology even further ahead of the next-generation lineup.
