Oppo’s next flagship phone could be one of the most ambitious camera smartphones yet. A new leak suggests the upcoming Oppo Find X10 Pro Max may arrive with three 200MP rear cameras, covering the main, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses. If accurate, this would make it one of the first smartphones to use 200MP sensors across the entire rear camera setup.
The leak points to a major imaging jump over the current Find X9 Pro series, especially for users who care about photography, video recording, zoom quality, and consistent image performance across different focal lengths.
According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max will feature a 200MP main camera, a 200MP ultrawide camera, and a 200MP telephoto camera. This would be a significant change from most flagship phones, which usually reserve the highest-resolution sensor for the main camera while using smaller or lower-resolution sensors for ultrawide and zoom shots.
The main camera is expected to use Samsung’s ISOCELL HPC sensor. This is said to be a 200MP, 1/1.3-inch sensor built with Samsung’s DeepPix pixel technology. The design combines Front Deep Trench Isolation with dual vertical transfer gates and a shared floating diffusion structure. In simpler terms, the sensor is designed to capture more light and preserve more detail without needing larger individual pixels.
One of the most exciting claims is the main sensor’s dynamic range. Oppo has reportedly highlighted a 17EV dynamic range for the Find X10 Pro Max’s main camera. That would put it among the strongest smartphone camera sensors available, especially within the 200MP category. A wider dynamic range helps the camera preserve detail in both bright highlights and dark shadows, making photos look more balanced in difficult lighting.
The sensor is also said to support single-frame 16-bit HDR capture at multiple in-sensor zoom levels, including 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x, and 4x. This could allow the phone to deliver sharp and detailed images even when digitally cropping from the high-resolution sensor. Samsung claims this type of HDR processing can produce richer color reproduction compared with conventional HDR methods.
Video performance could also see a big improvement. The sensor reportedly supports 4K recording at up to 180 frames per second with partial-pixel readout, or 4K at 120 frames per second with all-pixel phase detection autofocus. The ultrawide camera is also expected to receive a major upgrade. The leak suggests a 200MP ultrawide sensor measuring around 1/1.56 inches, possibly Samsung’s ISOCELL HP5. That would be much larger than the ultrawide sensors used in previous Oppo flagship models. A bigger ultrawide sensor should help deliver cleaner low-light shots, better edge detail, improved dynamic range, and stronger video quality.
This matters because ultrawide cameras often fall behind main cameras in image quality. With a larger 200MP sensor, Oppo may be trying to reduce that gap and make the ultrawide camera feel like a true flagship-level shooter rather than a secondary lens.
The telephoto camera is rumored to use a 200MP OmniVision OV52A sensor with a 1/1.28-inch size. This sensor has already been associated with high-end zoom performance in Oppo’s recent premium devices. While it may not match the main camera’s reported dynamic range, it should still offer strong detail capture for portrait shots, medium-range zoom, and video recording.
A larger, high-resolution telephoto sensor could also improve hybrid zoom quality. Instead of relying heavily on software upscaling, the phone could crop into the 200MP sensor to produce sharper zoomed images. This would be especially useful for users who frequently take travel photos, concert shots, street photography, or portraits from a distance.
The biggest advantage of using large 200MP sensors across all three cameras is consistency. Many smartphones produce excellent images from the main camera but noticeably weaker results from the ultrawide or telephoto lenses. Oppo’s rumored approach could make photos and videos look more consistent when switching between lenses.
That consistency could be especially important for video recording. Larger sensors can capture more light, produce better background separation, and reduce noise in darker environments.
