One-Netbook is preparing to launch the OneXPlayer Super X Pro, a new high-end 2-in-1 gaming handheld/tablet that pushes memory capacity far beyond what most portable gaming PCs offer. While its processor and graphics upgrades appear modest on paper, its massive unified memory configuration could make it one of the most unusual devices in the handheld gaming market.
The OneXPlayer Super X Pro is built on AMD’s Gorgon Halo platform and features the Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495 processor. Early benchmark results suggest that this chip delivers only a small performance improvement over the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 used in the previous model. The same appears to be true for the integrated Radeon 8065S graphics, which seems to be a slight refresh of the Radeon 8060S rather than a major generational leap.
Where the Super X Pro stands out is memory. One-Netbook will offer the device with up to 192 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 unified RAM. Even more impressive, users can allocate up to 160 GB of that memory as VRAM. That is a major increase over the previous model, which supported up to 96 GB of VRAM allocation.
This kind of configuration could appeal to more than just gamers. The huge memory pool may benefit creators, AI workloads, 3D rendering, large texture-heavy games, and professional applications that can take advantage of expanded video memory. For users who want a portable Windows machine with extreme memory capacity, the OneXPlayer Super X Pro could be a very interesting option.
The display remains another strong point. The device keeps a 2.8K AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz variable refresh rate, giving it the kind of sharpness, contrast, and smooth motion expected from a premium gaming handheld. It also includes an 85 Wh battery, which is large for this category, and supports fast charging at up to 240 W.
Performance can be pushed further when paired with One-Netbook’s optional liquid cooling solution. With that setup, the Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495 can reportedly draw up to 120 W, allowing the system to sustain higher performance levels than a typical compact handheld design would allow.
Expansion options include mini SSD support and dual USB4 ports, giving users flexibility for storage, docks, external displays, and high-speed accessories. However, the device still does not include OCuLink, which may disappoint users hoping for a dedicated external GPU connection.
One-Netbook says the OneXPlayer Super X Pro is coming soon, but the company has not yet revealed an official price or release date. Given its extreme memory configuration, premium AMOLED display, and powerful AMD platform, it will likely target enthusiasts, power users, and gamers looking for a portable device that goes far beyond standard handheld gaming PC specifications.
