OnePlus Unveils a 120W Fast-Charging Power Bank for Lightning-Quick Top-Ups

OnePlus has officially confirmed it’s bringing a new high-capacity portable charger to market, and it’s shaping up to be a serious option for anyone who wants fast, reliable power on the go. Called the 120W SuperVOOC Power Bank, this new accessory was previously spotted online and now has a firm launch timeline.

The 120W OnePlus power bank is set to debut in China on April 28, 2026. It will arrive alongside OnePlus’s latest flagship gaming-focused smartphone, the Ace 6 Ultra, which is launching at the same event. Pairing a high-speed power bank with a big-battery gaming phone makes sense, especially for users who burn through battery during long play sessions, travel, or heavy daily use.

OnePlus has also shared several key specifications ahead of launch. One of the main highlights is safety: the company says this is the first power bank to use Oppo’s “Ice Shield” safety battery cells. These cells are designed to keep performance stable even in tougher conditions, putting an emphasis on consistent output and safer operation when charging at high speeds.

As for charging performance, OnePlus hasn’t clearly stated whether the full 120W fast charging applies broadly to non-SuperVOOC devices. However, it has confirmed a real-world claim for its own ecosystem: the power bank can charge the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra from 0% to 68% in about 30 minutes. That’s a notable figure, particularly for users who need a quick top-up before heading out.

Capacity is another big part of the story. The 120W SuperVOOC Power Bank comes with a rated 15,000mAh capacity, which OnePlus says should be enough to charge most smartphones more than once. To put that into context, OnePlus claims it can recharge the Ace 6 Ultra about 1.5 times, and that phone is expected to feature a large 8,600mAh battery. For buyers comparing power banks, that kind of reference point helps illustrate what the capacity can deliver in practical use.

Despite its larger battery size, the new model appears compact enough for everyday carry. From the official images, the design looks extremely similar to Oppo’s recently released Super Flash Charge power bank. That strongly suggests OnePlus may be offering a rebranded version of the same hardware, which is a common approach for closely connected brands.

If it is based on Oppo’s equivalent model, users can likely expect support for common fast-charging standards beyond proprietary systems. The Oppo version supports PPS, PD 3.0, UFCS, and QC, and it’s reported to weigh around 310 grams while measuring 105 x 70 x 29mm. Those dimensions would place it in an easy-to-pack category, making it suitable for commutes, backpacks, and travel kits.

Pricing for OnePlus’s model hasn’t been announced yet, but the Oppo power bank launched in China at CNY 299 (roughly $44). If OnePlus follows a similar strategy, the final price shouldn’t land far from that figure, though availability outside China remains unknown for now.

With 120W charging, a 15,000mAh capacity, and a focus on safety and stability, the OnePlus 120W SuperVOOC Power Bank looks positioned for users who want a fast-charging power bank that can keep up with modern flagship phones—especially large-battery devices built for gaming and heavy use.
