OnePlus is getting ready to introduce a new gaming-focused flagship phone, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, with an official launch in China set for April 28, 2026. Ahead of the reveal, OnePlus has been steadily teasing key features, and the latest details make one thing clear: this phone is built around long gaming sessions, fast top-ups, and stronger connectivity.
A massive 8,600mAh battery is now confirmed for the Ace 6 Ultra, positioning it as a serious contender among battery-heavy performance phones. OnePlus claims that capacity can deliver up to 7 hours of gaming, aimed at players who want extended playtime without constantly reaching for a charger.
Charging is another major highlight. The Ace 6 Ultra is set to support 120W fast charging, and OnePlus says just 10 minutes on the charger can provide up to 2 hours of gameplay. While the company hasn’t mentioned bypass charging in these teasers, the focus is clearly on minimizing downtime and keeping gaming sessions going with quick power boosts.
To help maintain efficiency and performance, the phone will include a “Glacier Battery” chipset. According to OnePlus, this component is designed to improve power efficiency and keep gameplay smooth even when the battery gets low, which is often when performance drops can become noticeable on other devices.
Connectivity is also being positioned as a core advantage. The Ace 6 Ultra will feature the G2 Pro gaming chip, which OnePlus says is built to enhance signal reception, reduce Wi-Fi latency, and improve performance in weaker network conditions. For competitive gaming and fast-paced online matches, that combination of lower lag and steadier connections could be a major selling point.
OnePlus has also started highlighting the camera system, suggesting the Ace 6 Ultra won’t ignore photography despite its gaming-first identity. The phone will include a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.55-inch sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS). While details about the secondary camera haven’t been shared yet, OnePlus confirms the camera setup will be paired with a flagship-grade image signal processor (ISP) from Oppo. Early shared samples point to strong daylight detail, though real-world performance will ultimately depend on final hardware and software tuning.
Other confirmed features round out a premium, durable package: a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, and a wide set of water and dust resistance ratings including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K.
