OnePlus Pad 3 Pro Leak Hints at a Powerful New Flagship Tablet on the Horizon

OnePlus’ flagship tablet lineup may be getting a serious performance boost soon. After launching the OnePlus Pad 3 globally last year with standout specs like a large 13.2-inch display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and a hefty 12,140mAh battery, a fresh leak now suggests the company is preparing an upgraded model called the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro.

According to information shared by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro will stick with the same 13.2-inch screen size found on the current Pad 3. The big change is expected to be under the hood, where OnePlus could jump to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. If accurate, that would make the tablet a true performance-focused device, using the same top-tier chipset reportedly found in the company’s flagship phone line, including the OnePlus 15.

The leak also points to premium memory and storage configurations. The OnePlus Pad 3 Pro is said to arrive with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM paired with 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, a combination aimed at fast multitasking, smoother productivity workflows, and better performance for demanding apps and high-end gaming.

Color choices may include titanium and green, giving buyers at least two distinct looks at launch. Battery details are still vague, but the tipster claims a large battery is planned—though an exact capacity hasn’t been revealed yet. Considering the Pad 3 already packs a massive battery, expectations are naturally high that the Pro model will continue that trend.

Interestingly, the same leak mentions another OnePlus tablet in development: a compact model with an 8.8-inch display. This smaller tablet is said to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, described as a sub-flagship Qualcomm processor. There’s also talk of a version featuring a “soft light” display option, which could appeal to people who read for long stretches or want a screen tuned for reduced glare and eye comfort.

As for release timing, the current claim is that the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro will launch first, with the smaller 8.8-inch tablet arriving afterward. What remains uncertain is availability—there’s no confirmation yet on whether either tablet will release globally or remain exclusive to China.

If these details hold up, OnePlus could be positioning the Pad 3 Pro as a high-performance Android tablet built for power users, while the compact model targets buyers who want flagship-like speed in a more portable size.
