Recently, OnePlus China inadvertently confirmed many of these details by releasing an unboxing video right ahead of the anticipated October 31 launch in China.
This sneak peek reveals the device operating on ColorOS, so unfortunately, we miss out on the fresh features of OxygenOS 15. However, the video offers an excellent glimpse into the redesigned hardware. Perhaps the most noticeable change is in the display, which has now done away with the curved edges, opting instead for a flatter, more streamlined look. The back panel, too, presents a simpler design aesthetic with a potentially more prominent camera bump, cleverly integrated without a large metal plate under the camera disc.
These refinements, although subtle, are sure to be well-received by the OnePlus community. The elimination of curved edges is particularly beneficial, minimizing accidental touches and gestures—a common grievance among users of curved displays.
