The discovery suggests that Oppo may be testing parts of its next major interface update inside current software builds before the full ColorOS 17 rollout begins. The Shelf component reportedly carries a version number linked to “17,” even though the phone itself is still running ColorOS 16.0.8. That detail has made the leak especially interesting, as it could point to early internal testing of ColorOS 17 design assets.
