NVIDIA Regains GPU Sales Lead in Germany as RTX 50 Series Demand Rises
Germany’s graphics card market has been leaning heavily toward AMD for quite some time, but the latest June 2026 sales figures show a notable shift. NVIDIA has reclaimed the top spot at Mindfactory, one of Germany’s most closely watched PC hardware retailers, thanks largely to stronger demand for its RTX 50 series GPUs.
According to the latest sales data, NVIDIA shipped around 3,495 graphics cards during the month, putting it slightly ahead of AMD, which sold approximately 3,240 units. That gives NVIDIA an 8% unit-sales advantage over AMD for June 2026, marking an important comeback in a market where Radeon GPUs had been performing exceptionally well.
The competition remains extremely close in terms of units sold, but revenue tells a very different story. NVIDIA captured nearly 66% of total GPU revenue at Mindfactory, helped by a much higher average selling price of around 1,100 euros. AMD, by comparison, accounted for just over 32% of revenue, with an average selling price of about 519 euros.
This gap highlights the biggest difference between the two brands right now. AMD is moving a large number of cards through more affordable models, while NVIDIA is generating stronger revenue through premium RTX 50 series GPUs.
The RTX 5080 appears to be one of NVIDIA’s biggest revenue drivers. With roughly 750 units sold at prices above 1,200 euros, it has played a major role in lifting NVIDIA’s average selling price. While it is not the best-selling NVIDIA card by unit volume, its high price makes it one of the most important models in terms of overall sales value.
The most popular NVIDIA GPU for the month was the RTX 5060 Ti, with around 845 units sold. It was followed by the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti, showing that buyers are spread across both mid-range and high-end RTX 50 series options.
However, not every RTX 50 series model is enjoying the same success. The 8 GB RTX 5060 continues to struggle with buyer interest, likely because VRAM capacity has become a major concern for gamers and PC builders. As newer games demand more memory, many shoppers are avoiding 8 GB cards in favor of models with more future-proof specifications.
AMD, meanwhile, continues to show impressive strength with its RDNA 4 lineup. The Radeon RX 9070 XT remains the standout performer, selling around 1,825 units in June. That makes it the most popular individual GPU in the latest Mindfactory sales data.
The Radeon RX 9060 XT also performed strongly, reaching about 1,260 units sold. Together, the RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT accounted for around 45% of all GPUs sold during the month. That is a major achievement and shows that AMD’s latest Radeon cards are still highly attractive to German buyers.
The RX 9070 XT in particular continues to be one of the hottest graphics cards on the market. Its combination of performance, pricing, and memory configuration appears to be resonating strongly with gamers who want high-end performance without paying ultra-premium prices.
Even though AMD has the two most popular individual GPUs, NVIDIA’s broader RTX 50 series lineup has allowed it to regain the overall sales lead. The result is a highly competitive GPU market where AMD is winning on specific models, while NVIDIA is winning through total volume and revenue.
The June 2026 data also reflects a broader buying trend among PC gamers. Shoppers are becoming more selective, especially when it comes to VRAM, pricing, and long-term value. Cards with limited memory are being overlooked, while GPUs that offer better specifications for modern gaming are seeing stronger demand.
For NVIDIA, the return to first place in Germany is a strong sign that the RTX 50 series is gaining momentum. For AMD, the continued success of the RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT proves that Radeon remains a serious force, especially in the performance-per-euro segment.
As of June 2026, NVIDIA holds the lead in Germany’s GPU sales race, but AMD is far from falling behind. With both the RTX 50 series and RX 9000 series competing aggressively, buyers are benefiting from one of the most active graphics card markets in recent years.
