Nothing Phone (4b) Leak Points to Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Chipset and Lower Price
Nothing is preparing to expand its smartphone lineup with the Nothing Phone (4b), and a fresh benchmark listing may have revealed the first key details about the upcoming device. While the company has not officially shared the full specifications yet, the new leak suggests that the Phone (4b) could arrive as a more affordable alternative to the Nothing Phone (4a).
The Nothing Phone (4b) is scheduled to launch on July 7, 2026. Ahead of its debut, a device believed to be the Phone (4b) has appeared on Geekbench with the model number A009P. The listing points to a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor paired with 8GB of RAM.
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 is an octa-core chipset built on a 4nm process and features the Adreno 810 GPU. This should give the Nothing Phone (4b) solid everyday performance for browsing, social media, streaming, casual gaming, and multitasking. However, based on early benchmark results, it may sit slightly below the Nothing Phone (4a) in raw performance.
According to the Geekbench entry, the Nothing Phone (4b) scored 1,088 points in single-core testing and 3,155 points in multi-core testing. For comparison, the Nothing Phone (4a), which uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, has been seen scoring around 1,259 points in single-core and 3,339 points in multi-core tests.
These numbers suggest that Nothing may be positioning the Phone (4b) as a more budget-friendly model rather than a direct performance upgrade. That strategy would make sense if the company wants to attract buyers looking for the Nothing design experience at a lower price.
Pricing could be one of the biggest selling points of the Nothing Phone (4b). A tipster on X claims the device may launch in India at around INR 3,000 to INR 5,000 lower than the Nothing Phone (4a). Since the Phone (4a) currently starts at INR 37,999, the Phone (4b) could arrive at a notably more accessible price point.
If the leak is accurate, the Nothing Phone (4b) may appeal to users who want a stylish mid-range smartphone without paying flagship-level prices. With the company’s signature transparent-inspired design language, clean software experience, and expected competitive pricing, the Phone (4b) could become an interesting option in the affordable Android phone segment.
For now, the official specifications, camera details, battery capacity, display features, and storage options remain unknown. More information should be revealed as the July 7 launch date approaches.
