The NL1840R is rated at 14.4Wh and 3.6V, placing it among high-capacity 18650 batteries currently available. While Nitecore has already offered 4,000mAh models in its NL1840 lineup, this version stands out because it adds integrated charging electronics directly into the battery. That means users can recharge it with a USB-C cable without needing a separate dedicated battery charger.
A small LED indicator on the top of the battery makes charging status easy to check. The light turns red while the battery is charging and green once it is fully charged.
