These new processors promise to revolutionize the “PRO” experience, boasting the planet’s fastest neural processing unit (NPU) with a staggering 55 AI TOPS (Trillions of Operations Per Second).
The Ryzen AI PRO 300 series aims to set new standards with a massive leap forward in capabilities compared to its predecessors. Building on their existing architecture, these advanced processors are fueled by Zen 5 CPU cores and RDNA 3.5 GPU cores, ensuring unparalleled performance in processing and graphics.
Highlighting AMD’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of AI integration, the new Strix series also holds the distinction of being Copilot+ certified, which aligns with AMD’s vision for integrating more sophisticated AI into business and enterprise solutions. Users will enjoy a significant upgrade with 50% more CPU cores, a 33% increase in GPU compute units, and a fivefold increase in AI performance.
These APUs are available in three distinct SKUs, designed to accommodate a variety of professional needs. At the top of the lineup, the Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 375 delivers a powerhouse experience with 12 cores and 24 threads, a boost clock of up to 5.1 GHz, and an impressive 36 MB cache. Its NPU, capable of 55 TOPS, positions it at the forefront of AI processing speed, complemented by the Radeon 890M integrated GPU with 16 compute units.
The AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 370 and Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 are also formidable contenders, offering slight variations in AI processing capabilities and core configurations to meet different performance requirements. Notably, the Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 not only competes but outpaces Intel’s Core Ultra 7 165U vPRO by up to 30% in speed, highlighting AMD’s dedication to leading the charge in processing power.
