Balatro continues its summer of updates with the second installment of three free updates, featuring its first-ever collaboration with popular titles such as The Witcher 3, Dave the Diver, Vampire Survivors, and Among Us.
This “Friends of Jimbo” update enhances the game’s card theming options for all four card suits. Each suit receives a unique cosmetic card skin tied to specific popular titles. The combinations are as follows:
– Spades – The Witcher
– Hearts – Among Us
– Clubs – Vampire Survivors
– Diamonds – Dave the Diver
Players can access these new skins under the “Customize Deck” tab in the options menu, and they are available immediately upon updating. Impressively, these skins can also be applied during ongoing runs, enhancing the experience without interruption.
The face cards – King, Queen, and Jack – have been reimagined with Balatro-inspired artwork. The Witcher cards feature original depictions of Geralt, Yennefer, and Jaskier. Among Us hearts cards show a red Crewmate in various scenarios, including an Impostor. The Vampire Survivors club cards showcase the Vampire, Queen Sigma, and Poe Ratcho. Finally, the diamonds depict Bancho, Dave, and Cobra from Dave the Diver.
It’s always refreshing to see developers providing free content to their supporters. Players can still anticipate one more free update before the significant release in 2025. While details on the third update are still under wraps, excitement is steadily building.
