Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 made a significant impact last year as a high-tier chipset, offering performance levels close to that of the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Building upon this foundation, its successor, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, is expected to further elevate mobile processing capabilities with its new core configurations.
A reputable source has released information stating that the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 will feature a robust Cortex-X4 prime core clocked at 2.9 GHz. By comparison, the prime core in the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset runs at a higher frequency of 3.3 GHz. Accompanying the Cortex-X4 core are four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.6 GHz, and three energy-efficient Cortex-A520 cores at 1.9 GHz.
