Galaxy S24 Series Receives Second February Update in Korea

Owners of the Galaxy S24 series in Korea are receiving another firmware update, marking the second update for the devices in the region. This latest release brings with it some enigmatic changes as the details are not fully disclosed.

The newly dispatched update for the Galaxy S24 series in Korea has been assigned the firmware version S928NKSU1AXBA. The first update that was rolled out in Korea was recognized by the firmware version AXB5.

The fresh update also integrates the February 2024 security patch. It is indicated by the firmware version, which includes a “U” that suggests there could be additional features or modifications included, not just security enhancements.

Interestingly, the update file is relatively small, just 418MB. This could imply that while it might bring some changes, they aren’t extensive. This same firmware version, AXBA, was also used in the first Galaxy S24 update in India, and it is expected that users in Europe will be receiving this update imminently as the AXBA build begins its roll out in that region as well.

Previous firmware versions have addressed issues with the camera and display for the Galaxy S24, and users were able to restore the vivid display features. The details for the latest update are not yet clear, but we’ll be sure to report on the changes as soon as more information becomes available.

For those who prefer to check for updates manually, you can do so by visiting the firmware section of your device or by navigating to the Settings app, selecting “Software update,” and then choosing “Download and install.”

As updates continue to enhance the performance and security of the Galaxy S24 series, users are encouraged to stay informed on the latest firmware releases to ensure their devices operate optimally.
