Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 Get Security Enhancements
For users of the 2022 foldable models, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the March security updates are initially available for carrier-locked devices, with build numbers F936USQS4EXBD and F721USQS4EXBD, respectively. Samsung has concentrated on delivering the latest security patches in this release, without additional feature updates. Those anticipating the One UI 6.1 feature update may have to wait a little longer.
Security Patch Details for Galaxy Foldable Devices
The March security patch from Samsung addresses numerous identified vulnerabilities, with around three dozen Android OS corrections and nine specific fixes for Galaxy models. This monthly security update might seem modest compared to previous releases, yet it addresses critical security issues that users are encouraged to install promptly.

Samsung’s changelog explicitly indicates that these updates are security-focused, strengthening the devices against potential security threats.
