Xiaomi Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra move closer to global launch with new certifications
Xiaomi appears to be preparing its next wave of high-performance Poco smartphones, as the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra have started showing up on several certification platforms. The listings suggest that both devices are being readied for international markets and could arrive as successors to the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra.
The Poco F9 Pro has reportedly appeared in the GSMA IMEI database with the model number 2607APCA5G, while the Poco F9 Ultra is listed under the model number 26077PC53G. The “G” at the end of both model numbers typically points to global versions, indicating that Xiaomi may be planning a wider release outside China.
Additional certifications from Singapore’s IMDA and Indonesia’s TKDN platform further strengthen the possibility of a global launch. The IMDA entries confirm that the upcoming Poco phones will support 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC, all of which are expected features for premium Android smartphones in 2026.
More interesting details come from Taiwan’s NCC database. According to the certification information, both the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra will support 100W wired fast charging. This should allow the phones to charge quickly, making them attractive options for users who want flagship-level battery performance.
The Poco F9 Ultra is expected to go a step further with 50W wireless charging, giving it an advantage over the Pro model. Wireless charging is still not always guaranteed on performance-focused phones, so its inclusion could help the F9 Ultra stand out in the premium smartphone segment.
The NCC listings also reveal possible memory and storage configurations. The Poco F9 Ultra may launch in 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage variants. The Poco F9 Pro, meanwhile, is listed with 256GB and 512GB storage options, though RAM configurations have not been fully detailed yet.
Xiaomi has not officially announced the Poco F9 Pro or Poco F9 Ultra, so final specifications, pricing, and launch dates remain unconfirmed. However, the growing number of certifications suggests that development is progressing and that an official reveal may not be too far away.
The Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra are also expected to be based on Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi K100 series, which is likely to debut first in China later in 2026. If Xiaomi follows its usual strategy, the Redmi K100 models could be rebranded or slightly modified for global markets under the Poco F9 lineup.
With 5G support, high-speed wired charging, possible wireless charging on the Ultra model, and generous storage options, the Poco F9 series could become one of Xiaomi’s most exciting global smartphone releases of 2026. More details should emerge as the devices move closer to launch.
