MSI is stepping up its game with exciting news for gaming enthusiasts. The company has announced that several of its QD-OLED gaming monitors will come equipped with the EOTF Boost feature, enhancing brightness levels to an impressive 1000 nits right out of the box.
Recently unveiled, EOTF Boost significantly elevates the brightness of MSI’s OLED displays, surpassing the standard HDR 1000 modes. This enhancement provides users with exceptional clarity and brightness, especially beneficial for gaming and everyday use.
MSI has confirmed that this feature will be pre-installed in some of its latest models, including:
– MAG 322UP QD-OLED E16
– MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50
– MAG 271QP QD-OLED X28
– MAG 272QPW QD-OLED X28
Additional MSI QD-OLED monitors will receive the EOTF Boost upgrade via a firmware update expected this August. Users will find this feature enabled in the OSD menu as a new HDR mode, ensuring a brighter and more vivid display experience.
On top of this exciting development, MSI is offering a promotional discount in China on selected QD-OLED monitors, giving buyers a chance to snag these advanced displays at a reduced price.
