MSI has unveiled a brand-new ultra-compact mini PC powered by Intel’s latest Panther Lake platform, and it’s built to deliver serious performance in a surprisingly tiny body. Called the Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG, this new system packs modern PC hardware and AI acceleration into a 0.51‑liter chassis—small enough to easily move between rooms, offices, or workstations, yet powerful enough for demanding productivity and AI-focused workloads.
The Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG is designed as a Copilot+ PC, thanks to Intel’s 5th-generation NPU (often referred to as NPU5). MSI says the system can reach up to 50 TOPS of AI performance, making it a strong fit for users who want fast on-device AI features alongside everyday responsiveness. The goal is clear: deliver an AI-ready mini desktop that doesn’t compromise on connectivity, expandability, or real-world usability.
To cover different needs and budgets, MSI plans multiple processor options within Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 lineup. Entry-level configurations will feature the Intel Core Ultra 5 322, while users wanting more performance can step up to the Intel Core Ultra 7 355. At the top end, the flagship version is set to arrive with the Intel Core Ultra 9 386H, bringing a 16-core configuration aimed at heavier multitasking and intensive compute tasks. That premium model also includes integrated graphics with 4 Xe3 GPU cores, offering a capable all-in-one solution without requiring a discrete graphics card.
Despite its compact size, MSI is keeping upgrades and day-to-day practicality in mind. The system supports up to 32GB of memory via two SO-DIMM slots and includes an NVMe slot for fast SSD storage—important for quick boot times, smooth workflow performance, and modern app responsiveness.
Connectivity is another major focus. The Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG includes WiFi 7 for next-generation wireless speeds and responsiveness, plus dual LAN ports for stable wired networking—useful for business environments, home labs, routers/switch setups, or anyone who needs redundancy or separate networks. MSI also includes multiple USB ports for accessories and peripherals.
For multi-monitor setups, the mini PC comes equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 ports and can drive up to four displays at once. That’s a standout feature for such a small computer, especially for professionals who rely on multi-screen workflows like data analysis, content creation, software development, trading dashboards, or administrative multitasking.
Security and convenience also get an upgrade with a fingerprint-recognition power button, allowing fast sign-in while adding an extra layer of protection—particularly useful in shared workspaces or office environments.
With the Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG, MSI is positioning this model as a compact AI powerhouse built for modern computing: efficient performance from Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, dedicated AI acceleration for Copilot+ experiences, strong network options, and a display setup that rivals much larger desktops—all in a chassis that’s easy to place anywhere.
