Thunderobot has officially introduced the Mix Pro II, a compact new mini PC designed to pack serious performance into a tiny metal chassis. Measuring just 140 x 139 x 51 mm (roughly a 0.9 to 1.0 litre enclosure), the Mix Pro II targets users who want a space-saving desktop for productivity, content creation, and heavy multitasking without giving up modern connectivity.
Instead of using the highest-tier chips in Intel’s latest lineup, Thunderobot chose Arrow Lake H processors that balance power and efficiency. Buyers can pick from three options: the Intel Core Ultra 5 225H, Core Ultra 7 255H, or Core Ultra 9 285H. Despite its small size, the Mix Pro II is built to sustain up to a 65 W TDP, helped by a vapour chamber cooling system designed to manage heat under sustained workloads. That combination suggests the mini PC should remain capable for demanding tasks, including large office workloads, creative apps, and multi-display setups where processor performance matters.
Connectivity is another strong point. The Mix Pro II includes Thunderbolt 4 for high-speed peripherals and external storage, along with dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports for fast, stable networking—useful for creators working with large files, home lab enthusiasts, and professionals who prefer wired reliability over Wi‑Fi.
Thunderobot is launching the Mix Pro II in China with four configurations. Pricing starts at CNY 4,999 (about $722) before subsidies for a model with the Core Ultra 5 225H, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD. Stepping up to the Core Ultra 7 255H with the same 32 GB RAM and 1 TB storage raises the price to CNY 6,999 (around $1,011). For those who want the highest-end option, a Core Ultra 9 285H configuration paired with 64 GB of RAM is listed at CNY 8,999 (approximately $1,300).
For now, Thunderobot hasn’t shared any details about a global release date or international availability. If you’re outside China, that means the Mix Pro II is one to watch, especially if you’re looking for a small-footprint mini PC with modern Intel Core Ultra performance, Thunderbolt 4 support, and dual 2.5GbE networking in a premium metal housing.
