Minisforum has officially launched the M2 Elite Mini Air-304, a compact and affordable mini PC built around Intel’s new Wildcat Lake platform. First shown during Computex in June, the small desktop is now available with a focus on efficient everyday computing, strong connectivity, and flexible upgrade options.
The M2 Elite Mini Air-304 is designed as a lower-cost alternative to the company’s higher-end Elite Mini M2, but it still brings a surprisingly useful feature set for its size. At the center of the system is the Intel Core 3 304, an entry-level Wildcat Lake processor with five CPU cores and five threads. While it is not aimed at heavy gaming or demanding workstation tasks, it should be well suited for web browsing, office work, media playback, light productivity, home server use, and other everyday workloads.
Graphics are handled by integrated Intel Graphics, making the mini PC a practical option for users who need a compact desktop for streaming, digital signage, or a basic 4K media setup. Minisforum is also positioning the device as a small 4K media hub, helped by its dual HDMI outputs and modern USB4 support.
Despite its compact 0.47-liter chassis, the M2 Elite Mini Air-304 offers more connectivity than many systems in its class. Minisforum is also offering a preconfigured version with 16 GB of RAM and a 500 GB SSD for $559. Shipping is expected to begin in early September.
