Microsoft made waves in the tech world earlier this year when it launched the Surface Laptop 7 and Surface Pro 11, both boasting Snapdragon X Plus and Snapdragon X Elite processors. As Qualcomm rolled out newer Snapdragon X Plus variants, tech enthusiasts were eager to see if Microsoft would follow suit. Enter Roland Quandt, who has now teased that a refreshed Surface Pro 11 is indeed on the horizon.
Our benchmark tests reveal some intriguing differences between the chip variants. The new X1E-80-100 chipset lags behind the X1E-84-100 by a mere 1% in most metrics, but the gap widens when we look at GPU performance, where the former trails by approximately 16%.
Although Microsoft has yet to make an official announcement, a new model of the Surface Pro 11, powered by the X1E-84-100 chip, has recently been listed by several retailers across Europe. This variant, identified by the model number ‘ZIA-00007’, is set to hit the market with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD, priced between €1,849 and €1,929.
While the exact release date remains under wraps, tech fans in the Eurozone can soon look forward to getting their hands on this upgraded version of the Surface Pro 11.
