Machenike Preps a New Mini-PC Challenger to Asus ROG NUC, Featuring Up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070

Machenike is getting ready to heat up the compact PC space with its upcoming Dawn Gaming Mini PC, a small-form-factor system positioned as a serious alternative for gamers who want high performance without a full-size desktop tower.

According to the details shared so far, the Dawn Gaming Mini PC won’t offer NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or GeForce RTX 5080 options. Instead, Machenike is focusing on more accessible high-end configurations built around Intel’s Raptor Lake HX platform, rather than the newer Arrow Lake HX chips found in the latest wave of mini gaming PCs. That means buyers can expect proven, desktop-class laptop silicon aimed at strong gaming and creator workloads, even if it isn’t the newest CPU generation.

Pricing and configurations have also been outlined for the China launch. The entry model starts at CNY 13,999 (around $2,030) and includes an Intel Core i7-14700HX paired with a GeForce RTX 5060. For those who want more CPU headroom, Machenike will also offer Core i9-14900HX models in two GPU variants: one matched with the RTX 5060 for CNY 14,999 (about $2,175), and another stepping up to an RTX 5070 for CNY 15,999 (about $2,320).

Every version listed will ship with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, giving buyers a solid baseline for modern gaming, streaming, and productivity right out of the box without requiring immediate upgrades.

Availability is set for March 22 in China. As of now, Machenike hasn’t confirmed international pricing or a global release date, so anyone outside China will need to wait for further announcements on whether the Dawn Gaming Mini PC will expand to more markets.
