Lenovo has introduced a new budget-friendly IdeaPad Vibe 15Q8X12 laptop in multiple global markets, aiming to attract buyers who want a sleek everyday notebook at a lower price than many premium ultraportables.
The new 15-inch laptop is built around Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X X1-26-100 processor, giving it a modern Arm-based platform designed for efficient daily computing. On Lenovo’s current product listing, the laptop is shown with a starting price of $799 in the United States, paired with 8 GB of RAM.
Pricing varies by region. The IdeaPad Vibe 15Q8X12 starts at CAD 1,099 in Canada, £780 in the United Kingdom, between €849 and €949 in the Eurozone, HKD 9,438 in Hong Kong, MYR 4,939 in Malaysia, and SGD 1,629 in Singapore.
One interesting difference between regions is storage. In North America, Lenovo lists the base model with 256 GB of storage. In several other markets, the entry configuration starts with 512 GB instead, giving international buyers more space for apps, documents, photos, and media from the outset.
Customization options appear to be fairly limited, but Lenovo does offer the laptop in seven color choices, depending on availability in each market. Some regions also get upgraded configurations with 16 GB of RAM, along with newer wireless connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Across all versions, the IdeaPad Vibe 15Q8X12 includes a 50 Wh battery and supports 65 W charging. Lenovo has not yet shared official battery life figures, so real-world endurance will depend on the final configuration, software optimization, screen brightness, and everyday usage.
The display is consistent across the lineup. Every model features a 15.3-inch IPS screen with a 1200p resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 400 nits. While it is not aimed at high-refresh-rate gaming, the panel should be suitable for web browsing, streaming, office work, online classes, and general productivity.
With its Snapdragon X chip, 15.3-inch display, modern connectivity options, and relatively accessible starting price, the Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe 15Q8X12 is positioned as a practical laptop for students, remote workers, and everyday users looking for a lightweight alternative to more expensive premium notebooks.
