Lenovo Xiaoxin 100GT Unveiled: A New Era in Bright Smart Projectors

Lenovo has recently unveiled the Xiaoxin 100GT Smart Projector in China, a compelling addition to its home entertainment lineup. This projector boasts a 1080p resolution combined with LCD display technology and offers a native refresh rate of 60Hz. With a contrast ratio of 2,500:1 and HDR10+ support, it promises vivid and dynamic visuals. Impressively, it can project images up to 100 inches wide, featuring a throw ratio of 1.25:1.

Drawing comparisons to the previously launched Xiaoxin 100S, the 100GT is touted for its enhanced brightness. While the 100S offers brightness up to 430 CVIA lumens, the 100GT leaps ahead with a Crystal X sealed light engine, delivering up to 500 CVIA lumens. According to Lenovo, this brightness level equates to approximately 1,400 ANSI lumens. Like its predecessor, the 100GT is equipped with a 360° PTZ gimbal stand, facilitating easy adjustments to the projection angle, allowing users to cast images on various surfaces including screens, walls, or ceilings.

The 100GT simplifies the setup process with features such as autofocus, automatic keystone correction, screen alignment, and obstacle avoidance, ensuring a flawless projection experience. Running on Lenovo’s ZUI OS/Android 9.0, the projector supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, alongside wireless screencasting capabilities. Users can also control the device remotely via an app or through voice commands.

For an immersive audio experience, the 100GT is fitted with two 5W speakers. Connectivity options include HDMI, USB-A, and a 3.5mm audio jack, enhancing its versatility. Priced at CNY 1,099 (approximately $157), the Lenovo Xiaoxin 100GT provides advanced features at a competitive price point. In comparison, the Xiaoxin 100S is available for CNY 999 (around $142).

However, potential buyers in North America or Europe might face disappointment as Lenovo currently does not market its home theater projectors in these regions.

By delivering a high-performing projector with the latest technology, Lenovo continues to cater to tech enthusiasts looking for quality home entertainment solutions within China.
