Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 14 Launches Globally With 120Hz Display Options and New Intel Core Ultra Chips
Lenovo is expanding its IdeaPad Slim 5 14 lineup globally, bringing a compact 14-inch laptop with modern processor options, high-refresh-rate displays, and configurations aimed at everyday productivity, study, entertainment, and portable work.
The Intel-based Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 14IPH11 is expected to be available with several Core Ultra processor choices. Based on Lenovo’s product specifications, models with the Core Ultra 7 356H are also planned, offering a higher core count compared with the Core Ultra 5 325 and Core Ultra 7 355 versions. This should make the higher-end configuration more appealing for users who want stronger multitasking performance in a thin and lightweight laptop.
Lenovo is also preparing AMD-powered versions under the IdeaPad Slim 5 14AGP11 name, although availability appears to be more limited at the moment. The laptop is listed across multiple regional Lenovo sites, but in many cases, attempting to configure or purchase the AMD model shows it as unavailable. However, select markets are beginning to receive stock.
In Germany, for example, a pre-configured AMD model can currently be added to the basket. This version includes an AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage, with a listed price of €1,199. Lenovo has not yet shared full details about broader availability for these AMD configurations.
The Intel IdeaPad Slim 5 14IPH11 offers a solid range of hardware options. Buyers may be able to configure the laptop with up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 memory and up to 1 TB of M.2 2242 SSD storage. Display choices include 60Hz OLED and 120Hz IPS panels, giving users the option to prioritize either richer contrast and deeper blacks or smoother motion.
Lenovo’s specifications also indicate that a 2.8K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate will be available in select markets. If offered widely, this could become one of the most attractive configurations in the lineup, combining sharp resolution, smooth visuals, and OLED image quality in a portable 14-inch form factor.
Battery capacity is listed at 60 Wh for the IdeaPad Slim 5 14IPH11, which should be suitable for users looking for a balance between mobility and everyday endurance. While real-world battery life will depend on the chosen display, processor, brightness, and workload, the 60 Wh battery gives the device a competitive foundation for a compact laptop.
Pricing varies by region. Current starting prices include AUD 1,499 in Australia, around €1,099 to €1,229 in parts of Europe, HKD 7,850 in Hong Kong, MYR 4,280 in Malaysia, and £970 in the United Kingdom.
With its mix of Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen AI options, multiple display choices, up to 32 GB of RAM, and a portable 14-inch design, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 14 is shaping up to be a versatile laptop for students, professionals, and general users who want a modern notebook with premium display options and strong everyday performance.
